	Fleetguard Opens New Plant In Bangalore, India
	11 MAY 05 -- Fleetguard held groundbreaking ceremonies for its new air intake manufacturing plant with our Joint Venture Partner, Fleetguard Filters Pvt. Ltd., India in Hosur, Bangalore on April 17. The ceremony included laying of the foundational stone. The new plant is expected to be fully operational by July 2005. Chief guest for the ceremony was S. Nagarajan, Executive Director of Ashok Leyland. Pamela Carter, President-Fleetguard Inc., attended the ceremony with Fleetguard Filters Pvt. Ltd. Personnel , S.S. Pandit, Executive Chairman and Niranjan Kirloskar, Managing Director. "We are opening this new manufacturing facility in order to get closer to our customers in this part of the world," said Carter. "We have many key clients in the south of India, including Ashok Leyland, BEML, ELGI, Ingersoll Rand, HPPL and TATRA.
