When you choose a Fleetguard product, you can be confident you're backed by superior warranty protection from the moment of purchase through the product's recommended lifespan. Fleetguard’s warranty terms vary depending on whether the product is engine-applied or non-engine/industrial. Engine-applied products are mounted to the engine or chassis and connected into an engine fluid circuit, whereas industrial products are not. | Limited Product Warranty | Fleetguard products are warranted under normal use and service, to be free from defects in material and factory workmanship (Warrantable Failure). If our product is determined to have a Warrantable Failure, we shall repair, replace or refund such defective product in our sole discretion. If our product is also determined to be the primary cause of damage to the engine or component, we will reimburse reasonable costs to repair or replace, whichever is less, such damage. This limited warranty is made to all owners and is transferable to all subsequent owners. | Fleetguard industrial products are warranted under normal use and service, to be free from defects in material and factory workmanship for the duration of the Warranty Period set forth below. If we determine that your Fleetguard industrial product contains a defect in material or factory workmanship (a “Warrantable Failure”), we will replace or refund such product at our sole discretion. |
| Warranty Period | This Limited Warranty extends from the date of installation of our product through the duration of (i) the Original Equipment Manufacturers’ (OEM) recommended service life for the product or (ii) our published service life for the product, whichever is longer. Fleetguard is a brand of Atmus Filtration Technologies (“Atmus”). Atmus warrants your Fleetguard-brand products as follows:

Limitations
Atmus is not responsible for reduced service life or damages/failures resulting from (a) abuse, misuse, or neglect, including, but not limited to improper service practices or change interval(s), unintended applications, improper installation or alteration, and improper storage; or (b) accidents or conditions outside Atmus’ control, including but not limited to corrosion or contaminated fluid conditions; or (c) normal wear and tear. Fleetguard products are NOT warranted if they have been cleaned or otherwise modified in any manner. Atmus is not responsible for downtime, loss of income or lost profits, living expenses, cargo damage or fines. Atmus does not warrant its products beyond the Warranty Periods set forth above. Any extended warranty offered by the OEM shall be the sole responsibility of the OEM.
THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE WARRANTY OFFERED BY ATMUS. ATMUS MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND ANY OTHER WARRANTIES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED BY ATMUS TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. IN NO EVENT SHALL ATMUS BE LIABLE TO THE PRODUCT OWNER OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND.
Some states and jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state or apply in your jurisdiction.
Claim Process
All claims must be submitted within 60 days of the Warrantable Failure. The product must be returned to Atmus in the same condition as it was when removed from the application. Do not modify or change the product in any way, as this will void the warranty. Atmus has the right to repossess any failed product or component that has been replaced under warranty.
